Youth Alive Step Dance and Drum Team is a local performance group located in Central Berkshire County of Massachusetts, showcasing the talent of our community's youth. Founded in 1995, Youth Alive features a multi-cultural community-based arts program providing arts and educational opportunities to young people 8-18 years of age. The dance forms include Step, African, HBCU Style Majorette and Hip-Hop. Musicians can engage with both band and the bucket drummers group.
We specialize in three dynamic art forms: Step, a percussive dance form; Hip Hop Dance, expressing rhythm and style; and Drum, creating powerful beats and rhythms. Each form provides a unique avenue for our youth to express their talent and passion.
